Don’t get caught with an out of date website.
First impressions are so important in our world. It takes roughly 100 milliseconds for someone to form a judgement about you. Our industry expertise and focus makes the web development process an enjoyable one. Whether you are looking for a modern website, something more traditional & conservative, or something unique, we are here with you every step of the way to make this hugely important project a successful one.
Partnering with a company who understands and is passionate about the CRE industry is just an extra (but needed) bonus.
Trying to decide if your commercial real estate website needs an update or an overhaul? Here are some key considerations for all web platforms (remember, it needs to work on mobile as well as desktop):
What is the first impression from clicking on the site? Does it appear attractive and professional? Google confirms that people make a decision about aesthetics in less than 50 milliseconds and love clean designs. Also check: Does your site build your company brand in look and functionality?
Are all the essentials covered on the site? Is a commercial real estate customer apt to find what he or she is seeking? Can a customer learn rudiments about the company in a few clicks? Is contact information readily available? 51% of people think “thorough contact information” is the most important element missing from many company websites.
Is the site logically and systematically structured so that users intuitively know where to go to find what they want? Or is surfing the site more like playing Where’s Waldo? 47% of website visitors check out a company’s products/services page before looking at any other sections of the site.
Nothing says go away like a website that loads slowly or where there are dead pages or buttons. Make sure images load and load quickly. Make sure clicks don’t carry users on a road to nowhere because if that happens, they might leave and never come back.
Is there outdated material on the site? If so, that sends a message that the site is not being regularly tended and gives the business the same appearance it would have if the owner of a property let the grass and weeds grow. It means people don’t care, and that means users will take their business elsewhere.
